Missions

The Missions Committee exists to educate the congregation in the current missions endeavors of Grace OPC and of the OPC at large, to engage the congregation in actively supporting missions, and to encourage the congregation to pray with and for the missionaries and mission works at home and abroad.

The committee provides information about foreign and domestic, long and short term missions with reports such as Telenews and Home Missions Today. They also share opportunities for short-term mission work in the OPC, as well as the Dominican Republic English Camp trip coordinated by Grace OPC each summer.

Once per quarter, the Sunday school hour is devoted to highlighting mission works and current needs, including writing letters and cards to a featured missionary family. There is also a missions bulletin board in the fellowship hall with current missions information.
